The college is approved by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi, with the recommendation of Dental Council of India, New Delhi. It is affiliated to Ayush Health University, Raipur.
The College is located within an area of 5.00lac Sqft area and is self contained campus at Ranjnandgaon in a serene and congenial atmosphere best suited to an educational institution. Immediate construction for a multi-specialty Hospital consisting of Maxillofacial Trauma Centre, Oral Cancer Centre etc with sophisticated infrastructural facilities ensuring best treatment to the patients is in progress. A self-sufficient academic complex has also been designed with a view that all the necessary requirements of the College fraternity are met with in its academic setup.
At present library has area of 7000 sq.ft including separate reading room and has over 3500 books covering all subjects in dentistry as well as medical subjects. There are about 25 internationally acclaimed dental journals and 18 national journals. The library resources include good collection of prescribed textbooks, reference works like handbooks, dictionaries, encyclopedia, audio & videocassettes, 71 CD's related to various dental problems and its treatment. The library extends its facilities through separate reading section and also covers photocopying facility so that the students to increase their knowledge in a spacious set-up.
t is the first full-fledged, Ultra Modern Dental Hospital. It consists of 8 Departments viz. Oral Diagnosis & Radiology, Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics, Pedodontics, Conservative, Orthodontics, Community Dentistry, Periodontics & Oral Pathology & Microbiology. Departments are fully equipped with indigenous as well as imported Dental Chairs, X-Ray machine & OPG, RVG machine etc.. It also has its own dental labs equipped with latest ceramic furnace and induction casting machine. Facilities like testing of blood, urine, sugar etc. are also available.
